Ever turned a shampoo bottle around and wondered what half of it is actually doing?

In this two-hour, chemist-guided bench session you'll formulate your own shampoo and conditioner from scratch — measuring, mixing and bottling them yourself — and leave understanding exactly why each ingredient is in there. Not a recipe to follow blindly, but the reasoning behind it: what cleanses, what conditions, what's genuinely doing the work, and what's along for the ride.

You'll work at your own bench with professional ingredients and equipment, guided the whole way. No experience needed, and nothing to bring.

What you'll make

A shampoo and a matching conditioner, formulated by you and made without unnecessary additives, in [bottle sizes] to take home.

Who it's for

Anyone curious about what goes into their haircare — whether you're a label-reader already or just want a genuinely lovely way to spend a Sunday. Come on your own or book two benches and bring someone. No science background required.

Spaces are limited to the number of benches in the studio, so booking ahead is the only way in.
